JOIN the RIRR Gate City Half Marathon team!

Jennifer Thomas – I am planning on signing up for the Gate City 1/2 Marathon in Nashua, NH on May 17. There’s also a full marathon & marathon relay. I asked them to add RIRR as a team option and they did. If anyone is interested, when registering, there is a drop down menu – just select RIRR. Benefits are:

The winning team in the marathon relay gets free entry into the following year’s marathon relay.

For the Half Marathon and Marathon:
The winning team gets 3 free entries into the next year’s event. This is done for both Male, Female and Co-ed (at least 1 scoring female). So there are 6 team competitions on race day.

JOIN the Horseneck Half Marathon team!

Mike Proto started a team for the Horseneck Half Marathon/ 3.5K race on Sunday, May 17. The set-up is just like last year — for every FIVE team members that sign up on the RIRR team, we receive a free growler of craft beer, and for every TEN team members that sign up, we receive a reserved table with special snacks and waitress service.
You can choose either distance to be counted as a team member, and just as last year, you do not have to be an RIRR member to sign up for the team. Mike’s goal for this year’s race is TWENTY team members and we’ll get TWO reserved tables and FOUR free growlers of beer. For anyone who has never run this race, talk to people who have run it in the past — great course, great organization, and a huge amount of food and beer!!! The link to registration is …
When registering, just be sure to choose the Rhode Island Road Runners team from the drop down at the top of the registration page. We’ll see you on May 17th!!!”
