Upcoming Pacing Opportunities

Rhode Island Road Runners has been invited to pace both Newport (4/14) and Providence (5/6) marathons and half marathons.  We’ll be pacing 1:40, 1:50, 2:00, 2:15, 2:30, and 2:45 for the half.  For the full, we’ll use teams of two pacers to split shifts on 3:30, 3:45, 4:00, 4:30, and 5:00.  These times are tentative depending on number of volunteers, so please reach out to Nels Johnson via Facebook message or at csnyrox@yahoo.com via e-mail.  First come first serve to RIRR members, and after Sunday, March 11th we’ll also post this Facebook to fill any holes.

If you haven’t paced before, it’s a great opportunity to give back, we sometimes pair first timers with veterans when we have enough, and we can also arrange practice sessions if anyone is interested.
